A certified nursing assistant (CNA) is a vital member of the nursing team who helps patients with activities of daily living, and important healthcare tasks such as checking vital signs including blood pressure, oxygen levels, and temperature.
CNAs work in various healthcare settings with adults, children, and infants. They work very closely with nurses, doctors, and other members of the healthcare team. CNAs can be seen in general and specialty hospitals. They are also present in nursing homes, memory care facilities, and patients' personal homes.
Becoming a CNA provides the opportunity to get into healthcare quickly with no required prerequisites. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the need for nursing assistants to grow by 8% between 2020-2030, equating to about 115,000 job openings.
Upon acceptance into the program, a seat deposit of $550 is due to reserve your seat for your desired start date. Maricopa Career Institute (MCI) takes pride in offering an ALL-INCLUSIVE tuition. This means MCI is a one stop shop for nearly all registration requirements and the Arizona Board of Nursing requirements for enrolling in a nursing assistant program. This also means all loans and grants cover the entire cost of the program minus any required immunizations such as MMR, Tdap, and Varicella.
There are several payment options. Please contact us to find the payment option that is best for you. Please call to check for any current discounts or special offers.
