(CNA) Nursing Assistant
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program

What is a certified nursing assistant?
A certified nursing assistant (CNA) is a vital member of the nursing team who helps patients with activities of daily living, and important healthcare tasks such as checking vital signs including blood pressure, oxygen levels, and temperature.
CNAs work in various healthcare settings with adults, children, and infants. They work very closely with nurses, doctors, and other members of the healthcare team. CNAs can be seen in general and specialty hospitals. They are also present in nursing homes, memory care facilities, and patients' personal homes.
Becoming a CNA provides the opportunity to get into healthcare quickly with no required prerequisites. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the need for nursing assistants to grow by 8% between 2020-2030, equating to about 115,000 job openings.
