SafeSitter Certification
Our certification classes are held once a quarter during the school year. Go ahead and fill out your class application and one of our representatives will be in touch shortly.
Our babysitting classes are designed to teach students ages 11-14 about safety when caring for younger siblings or when babysitting younger children. Our program includes CPR, choking safety, and a graduation at the end of the second day. We do ask each student to bring a lunch.
After graduation, each student will receive a CPR certification from the American Heart Association and National Baby Sitting Certification from Safe Sitter. Please click on the link below to learn more about each certifying body.

Upcoming Classes

Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Price: $120 per student (non-refundable and no rescheduling)
*Classes are two days. Both days are required for certification.
*Students must provide their own lunch and snacks.
Safety Skills
Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Ideal for students ages 11-14.
Child Care Skills
Students learn tips to manage behavior that will help them stay in control of themselves and the children in their care. Students also learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering.
First Aid & Rescue Skills
Learning skills such as choking rescue and CPR is often students’ favorite part of the class. Students also learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses
Life & Business Skills
The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students practice these skills through various role plays.
